Honorary Fellowship of APSO

My Story

The Association of Pediatric Surgical Oncology (APSO) confers the prestigious Honorary Fellowship of the APSO-section of IAPS by selecting candidates from applications received from all Life Members.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Life membership of IAPS

  • APSO full Life membership for at least 15 years (including past membership as Surgical Oncology Section of IAPS)

  • Minimum 10 publications in pediatric surgical oncology (including book chapters)

  • Minimum 10 presentations in pediatric surgical oncology at Conferences, CMEs, and similar events

Application Process

Prospective candidates should send their application with supporting documents to the APSO Secretary by email: pediatricsurgicaloncology@gmail.com.

  • Attach publication and presentation details

  • Attach membership details

  • Include your APSO membership number and the year of joining in your application

Last date for submission: Applications close approximately two weeks prior to the  APSO Annual Conference. For the exact closing date, please contact the Secretary, APSO.

Selection and Notification

  • Applications are reviewed and scrutinized by the APSO Executive Committee.

  • Fellowship admissions are announced during the subsequent APSO conference.

  • All communication regarding the fellowship takes place through email from the Secretary, APSO-section of IAPS.

If you are a Health Care Provider caring for children with solid organ tumours, do become members of APSO and become a torch bearer for learning, teaching, caring and all that matters for improving the care delivered to these children.
